Our Give10 Campaign

Extending Your Impact

At Synchrony, we believe in empowering our employees to make a real difference—both in their careers and in the communities where we live and work. As we celebrated our 10-year anniversary alongside our 20,500 employees, it only felt right to expand this celebration and find unique ways to give back to our communities. We introduced Give10, an initiative rooted in employee input, where employees were asked to nominate causes they’re passionate about. The overwhelming response from our teams truly speaks to how Synchrony’s core values are upheld every day.

Through Give10, 100 employees’ charities of choice were awarded $10,000 grants to further their mission. We’re honored to highlight just a few of the charities chosen, and the deeply personal stories on how the passionate people who drive Synchrony’s success are extending their impact and championing causes that make a difference.

The Seeing Eye

Ashley is supporting The Seeing Eye, an organization that seeks to improve dignity and quality of life for the blind and visually impaired by providing specially trained guide dogs. Ashley's own confidence and independence skyrocketed after receiving her first guide dog, Emmit, in 2015. After that, they were inseparable—Emmit even accompanied her to her wedding! “There were so many opportunities opened for me that I never had the confidence to do before,” she said, “I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.”

Our investment in our communities across the globe comes in many forms. We’re so proud of the ways our employees give their skills, time, and dollars to support causes they care most about, and we’re honored to extend their impact. “Nobody expects their company to give them 10,000 dollars to go out and improve the world.” Says Jonathan, “Investing in the character of their employees is investing in the actions of goodwill that will follow.”
