Our 2023 Environmental, Social and Governance Report

Doing Right By Our Stakeholders

Each year we share how we pursue sustainable growth in our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report. We approach ESG with the objective of doing what’s right, reducing risk and creating value for our stakeholders. Our programs and the actions we take further our focus on improving quality of life through our growing ecosystem of financial products, experiences and our values.

Our values are the vehicle for how we support, encourage and do right by our stakeholders, whether they are customers, employees, clients, partners or stockholders.

We highlight below key initiatives across all areas of our report, with a special focus on our people. We’re excited to share notable ways we lead with purpose!

Honest

We identify opportunities and blind spots with data
In our workforce

Under our Advancing Diverse Talent (ADT) initiative, we use data and analytics to identify opportunities and gaps within our workforce and inform our strategies for hiring, developing and advancing underrepresented talent. This has led us to:

  • Focus more on increasing Black, Hispanic and Indigenous employee representation throughout the company, particularly at the higher levels (Vice President and above)
  • Make diverse representation a consideration in our Board's determination of bonus funding for approximately 4,900 employees across the company
