ADRIAN IDROGO – Customer Service Manager, Altamonte Springs Hub
JAMES ALVIZ – Customer Service Manager, Cebu City, PH
At Synchrony, we provide an inclusive, supportive environment, the opportunity to work flexibly, and the work-life balance our people want and need.
Two of our very own managers — Adrian Idrogo (Customer Service Manager) and James Alviz (Collections Manager) — share what they like most about working at Synchrony and how they achieve success in their roles.
For Adrian, he started as a Customer Service Representative and progressed in his career to coaching, mentoring, and managing people. He was encouraged to spend time with leadership and talk about their career paths and experiences at Synchrony to help him develop his own career goals and aspirations. Additionally, having the opportunity to work flexibly has really made a positive impact for Adrian in both his personal and professional life, allowing him to have more of a balance.
During his first few days at Synchrony, James had exposure to leadership and learned that employees’ ideas are heard and supported. James works to help create an inclusive, engaging culture for his team and equips them with the knowledge to become effective and efficient in their roles. He enjoys building relationships with his team members and holds regular meetings to review workloads and understand what support they need. James also encourages his team to take time off and enjoy it with family and friends without thinking about work.
We’re proud of Adrian and James for their ability to adapt to our new ways of working flexibly, engage and connect with their teams and colleagues, and spend time with leaders to help shape their career growth and development.
