Job Description:

Role Summary/Purpose:

The Account Director role within Account Management is responsible for both managing & cultivating strong partnerships with key strategic clients/businesses, delivering against client campaign business goals, delivering complex campaigns across multiple marketing execution channels, leading a team of Account Managers, and driving/supporting the continual evolution and integration of holistic planning and delivery for the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leverage campaign strategy & execution expertise to drive optimization & efficiency within client campaigns & delivers on key business strategic initiatives with a diligent focus on safety & soundness

  • Identify ways to continually improve our client relationships, AM processes and value add to the business that are scalable across the AM team. Embrace change and be a catalyst for new ways of thinking & delivering for the business

  • Develop, manage and drive Integrated Planning sessions with key clients that facilitate holistic channel planning, budget & marketing calendar reviews, capacity oversite & best practice sharing to support client business goals and drive incremental growth  

  • Lead and develop a team of Account Managers to successfully deliver, engage & drive value with our client teams, while also creating a positive team culture that promotes engagement and thought leadership for continued evolvement of the team

  • Focus on finding ways to improve the current campaign delivery infrastructure, driving synergies/best practices across the team and improving the campaign execution flow to drive a more seamless experience

  • Engage, coordinate & lead proactive project management for Demand Generation campaigns ensuring growth strategy deliverables are achieved

  • As required, coordinate client marketing campaign incident management and corrective actions; partnering with remediation subject matter experts and compliance teams.

  • Build relationships/networks across key functional areas that support marketing execution plans

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR in lieu of degree high school diploma/GED and 8+ years of professional experience in sales, marketing, operations in a corporate environment

  • A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience to include Project Management and client relationship experience

  • Experience leading and growing a team of professionals

  • Ability to travel 20% of the time or as needed

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to create/analyze reporting to drive insights on campaign workload, YOY trend changes, to identify optimization opportunities, etc.

  • Team player; flexibility to pivot with strategic, regulatory and market changes; and proven ability to work cross functionally, as well as within own function 

  • Agile skill sets, team, process, tools and/or methods experience

  • Keen understanding of data & production requirement development & how to integrate the data within the delivery platforms

  • General understanding of direct mail, email, paid & earned media channels with the goal of becoming an SME

  • Consumer financial services experience with exposure to credit card or retail environment

  • Prior Agency Account Management Experience

Grade/Level: 12

                                                            

The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 – 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
