Organizational Overview: The Performance Marketing Team is the engine behind business growth as it handles the majority of marketing activities. This includes targeting the right audience through campaigns, distributing content via channel marketing, conducting a thorough analysis of campaign launches and budgets, and also ensuring compliance via surveillance and governance all to maximize results and maintain a competitive edge. Role Summary/Purpose: As AVP, Marketing Preference Center Platforms reporting you will be an integral member of the Growth marketing within Synchrony Financial, India. As part of the Performance Marketing Platform team, this role will support Preference Center leadership in effectively developing and managing the reporting, analytics and insights needed for platform monitoring, oversight, governance and optimization with a focus on reporting automation and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Create and monitor the necessary reporting framework to support business needs and analytic requirements

Establish, implement and monitor platform KPI’s. Conduct analysis of performance trends, provide insightful business reporting and make recommendations

Lead all platform reporting and measurement efforts for Synchrony Preference Center, leveraging both internal and external tools

Drive optimization opportunities through insightful and actionable reporting and analysis, leveraging multiple data sources

Collaborate with stakeholders to drive special projects relates to integration of cookie and preference consent across synchrony digital websites.

Proactively propose and execute process improvements, mentor the team members on process skills and discuss the projects, showcase & drive for implementation and gauge the business impact
Required Skills/Knowledge:
-
Bachelor's degree with minimum 5+ years in financial domain or in lieu of a degree 7+ years of financial domain.

Good understanding of financial domain
-
5+ years of experience in platform, Agile methodologies and processes, product analytics or site/web analytics in B2C/B2B frameworks.

Demonstrated, advanced, hands-on experience with digital marketing, and business reporting or operation management tools. Reporting for consent management, privacy and marketing preference highly desired

Solid interpersonal skills at all organizational levels, including the ability to communicate effectively and influence others in the business

Experience with database management tools/languages (ex. SAS, Python, SQL, Unix, web technologies)
Desired Skills/Knowledge:

Experience with Privacy and Preference Management platforms

Experience with reporting and business insights tools (Business Objects Tableau, Power BI etc.)

Experience successfully navigating highly matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

Mathematics or statistics background with experience in translating solid analysis into actionable insight

Highly motivated, assertive self-starter with the ability to work autonomously or as a strong team participant

Experienced with consumer financial services, ideally with exposure to credit card marketing or retail marketing. Familiar with consumer protection, privacy and related laws and policies

Knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX etc.
Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor's degree with minimum 5+ years in financial domain or in lieu of a degree 7+ years of financial domain.
Work Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM IST
This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
