Organizational Overview:

Our Analytics organization comprises of data analysts who focus on enabling strategies to enhance customer and partner experience and optimize business performance through data management and development of full stack descriptive to prescriptive analytics solutions using cutting edge technologies thereby enabling business growth

Role Summary/Purpose :

AVP, Loyalty Analytics (Individual Contributor) role is a part of India Analytics Hub (IAH). The role will deliver on business and organizational priorities for Loyalty Center of in solving business problems with solutions that are powered by data and analytics. The candidate will play a crucial role in partnering with various functional teams to consolidate and build an inventory of loyalty programs . This will be leveraged to address and solve loyalty use cases at scale, helping to enhance customer engagement while optimizing for Reward R.O.I and thereby driving the company’s long term vision on loyalty. This person will also own the delivery and diagnostics of loyalty metrics at an enterprise level .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as business consultant who will be the primary point of contact between the Rewards C.o.E, IT and Analytics Teams , offer analytical and strategic thinking, be able to translate business  requirements into technical specifications

  • Co-Lead the Development of a scalable  and efficient Loyalty Inventory solution by leveraging expertise in databases and various reward programs . Play a hands-on role to ensure the solution’s accuracy , completeness and long term reliability

  • Consistently deliver comprehensive loyalty reporting through the Synchrony BI platform , ensuring enterprise-wide insights while meeting the unique reporting needs of individual clients

  • Drive data driven insights for partners on value propositions ,provide industry benchmarks & insights on usage  and recommendations for program effectiveness

  • Lead strategic initiatives and analytic solutions from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, and documentation in compliance with audit procedures, while driving commitment to last-mile project execution

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 6+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience, or in lieu of a degree 8+ years of relevant analytics/data science experience

  • Minimum 6+ years of hands-on Experience in SQL /SAS Tools with ability to leverage advanced algorithms and be efficient in handling complex/large data

  • Advanced proficiency in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint with superior data analyses and storyboarding skills

  • Ability to solve complex technical and business problems with minimal supervision

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

  • Superior thought leadership and framework based solutioning abilities

  • Experience in storytelling, presenting to senior leaders with strong communication skills

  • Innovative mindset that looks to improve current capabilities and discover new ones

  • Understanding of marketing concepts including campaign measurement, targeting, and segmentation

  • People management experience

  • Experience with digital measurement tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics

  • Experience with systems optimization projects

Eligibility Criteria :

Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 6+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience, or in lieu of a degree 8+ years of relevant analytics/data science experience

Work Timings:

This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
