Job Description:
Role Summary/Purpose:
Synchrony is leading the way to help consumers finance their health and wellness needs with CareCredit. This role will support the growth of our customer base through the development and implementation of thoughtful end to end campaigns across all paid, owned and earned media channels for health and wellness industries with a focus on the pet vertical for credit card and insurance. This role will interact extensively with internal media agency, external partners, product owners and leadership. Reporting to the VP, Consumer Marketing – Acquisitions, the AVP, Digital Acquisitions Manager will be a commercially-minded marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support campaign strategy development and execution for assigned products, channels and/or funnel stages – including close partnership with agencies to ensure both delivery and optimization against campaigns with a priority on pet. Support other verticals as capacity allows.

Partner and collaborate with channel SMEs during planning and buying cycles to inform audience, inventory and creative strategy, execution and optimization

Work with internal media agency to drive campaign optimization through testing new techniques, analyzing performance data, and shifting budget to top performing campaign elements, across channels and/or other marketing efforts

Work with analytics to campaign measurement plans with clear up-front objectives, segmentation, audiences, journeys, messaging and KPIs to ensure timely implementation of all tests.

Create campaign summaries that capture learnings, best practices & next steps.

Partner with website/agile team to align on-site experience with acquisitions strategy.

Own budget and spend across all assigned products, channels and/or funnel stages – work closely with Finance to process payments and reconcile spend.

Manage development of quarterly/annual business reviews and planning.

Liaise with appropriate internal teams to stay updated on new product features, seasonal messaging, and marketing to ensure brand consistency and accuracy

Liaise with external partners and large clients to identify opportunities to support customer base growth via their consumer paid, owned and earned media channels.

Consistently update Health and Wellness team on key opportunities, potential risks and other nuances which affect the health of the business

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree or in lieu of degree, GED and 8+ years marketing experience
-
5+ years of experience in developing multi-channel digital strategy, including paid search, paid social, display and programmatic media – either in an agency or for a consumer brand.

2+ years of experience in vendor/project management
-
Experience owning marketing budget, with prior accountability for large scale performance marketing campaigns.

Experience within Work Front or similar project management tool.
Desired Characteristics:
-
Marketing experience in the credit card or financial services industry – familiarity with value proposition and/or new product development processes.

Direct marketing experience with both acquisition and lifecycle/loyalty channels.

Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency

Prior experience managing digital media agencies and/or working with digital measurement tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics of Data Management Platforms.

Strong understanding of technical requirements, including tracking pixels, data integrations, etc. as it applies to paid media capabilities

Strategic thinking with ability to develop and implement actionable plans to drive business results.

Strong inter-personal skills, with ability to influence across cross-functional teams

Demonstrated project management skills.

Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to evaluate situations using multiple sources of information.

Ability to handle multiple ongoing complex projects in fast paced environment.

Proficiency with collaboration tools including Workfront.

Advertising agency experience a plus.

Strong PC proficiency (MS Office Suite) or comparable software applications.
Grade/Level: 11
The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 – 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
