Job Description:

Role Summary/Purpose

As part of the CareCredit Core Distribution team, this role will focus on driving value and sales through best practice integrations with industry partners. 

In this role, you will work alongside sales, IT and integration teams.  You will support enterprise strategy by driving standardized user experiences across aggregator integrations and optimizing promotion of CareCredit and Synchrony offerings.

The ideal candidate must be able to communicate business goals and objectives, define effective user experiences, and manage strategic client relationships. Other key responsibilities include acting as SME for Synchrony products and capabilities, overseeing legal and compliance reviews, and leveraging analytics to prioritize functionality and enhancements.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Understand the current technology infrastructure and how our capabilities align to client needs

  • Understand the variation in implementations across different aggregators

  • Work with appropriate IT and product owners to translate business requirements into technical requirements, project scope, timelines

  • Become the centralized point for new enhancements, capturing and documenting business requirements needed to optimize partner integrations

  • Demonstrate thought leadership – coupled with strong communication skills and ability to help teams connect the dots on new ideas, processes and strategy

  • Interface with cross-functional departments including marketing, sales, compliance, training, IT and analytics to define key performance indicators and support digital and business objectives

  • Report out on product impact, troubleshoot issues and build future product iterations

  • Provide cross-functional and cross-platform support of critical business initiatives

  • Establish and manage relevant digital reporting and metrics

  • Perform other duties or special assignments as needed

Qualifications/Requirements   

  • Bachelor's degree OR in lieu of degree, a high school/GED plus 8+ years of marketing experience in a credit card or financial services organization plus:

  • 4 years of experience in Digital Product Management to include:

    • Strong UX experience with a working knowledge of the technical but not a technical product manager. 

    • Project management experience, working across cross functional teams and projects.

    • Demonstrated completions of significant cross business/function projects.

    • Experience in credit card, financial services, or healthcare finance marketing experience.

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    • Ability to travel as needed.

Desired Characteristics

  • Deep domain knowledge and experience with CareCredit and Synchrony businesses, products and strategic growth initiatives

  • Ability to quickly synthesize complex ecosystems and process map user flows

  • Demonstrated project and product management skills with strong attention to detail

  • High energy, self-starter with an emphasis on action

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with little supervision

  • External presentation and sales experience, specifically in relation to software

  • Understand consumer and digital marketing trends and consumer purchase cycles

  • Tech savvy with familiarity and experience working with agile development teams, processes and tools

  • Experience marketing financial services products via digital channels

  • Able to simplify complex issues to drive consensus among stakeholders

  • Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Design experience a plus

Grade/Level: 11

                                                                                      

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 – 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

                                 

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
